العقلُ حِصْنُ الدِّيمقراطيَّةِ الحديثةِ

intelligence is a fortress to modern democracy

A strong patriotic land with confident international relations?
Intelligence is a fortress to modern democracy; unity is the battle.

We often wonder why, in some countries, a daily concern might be whether a museum is open on a Sunday or if a certain area needs another public library, while in others, the identity of a community is in absolute chaos. Does a country that debates adding another public library exist free of corruption or discrimination?

Of course not. In every nation, corruption exists, discrimination exists, and the lust for power exists. This is a baggage humanity is born with. It is through self-awareness that people rise above these traits, while remembering that this baggage remains a daily battle within societies.

We also realize that this baggage differs from one society to another. In some places, its effects remain a small struggle that barely impacts the community as a whole; in others, it can destroy it entirely. What are the factors that allow these elements to remain secondary issues, and when do they become central forces in the fall of countries and nations?

It is when identity is absent and unity is broken. This is when communities enter a phase of chaos. People lose their sense of patriotism and become driven individuals, hungry for money and power. They enter a cycle of illusion that eventually slips beyond their control. The further we drift from our identity, the weaker our unity becomes and the closer we move toward collapse. We become vulnerable to external forces; we become a foreign policy within our own land.

A community that understands its identity, its geography, and its resources can build an empire. Could you imagine such an empire in our land? Where intelligence is inherent, shaped by the character of this region? A strategic balance between patriotism and international relations can indeed form a fortress for modern democracy but it will collapse without return if its greatest battle remains one of internal division and identity crisis.
