The arrogance of believing we understand more than another valued member of our community lies in thinking our perspective stands above theirs. If you believe your perspective is superior and fail to recognize the light in your community member’s beliefs, you close yourself off from the very wisdom that could expand your own. In doing so, you remain stuck at the base of the mountain, unable to see the path ahead. Our nation won’t attune to us, if we don’t resist in a unified voice. Victory requires a unified orchestra; our voices will only echo as long as our nation remains divided. Any nation that believes it can progress without engaging all its community delays its triumph and invites further obstacles.
Resistance is not a mere label; it’s action, sacrifice, the willingness to engage in difficult conversations, battles and hardships. Resistance is engraving your feet in the soil of your significant community member feeling uncomfortable until you realize this is the comfort your soul has been longing for. We pray for our land, and to the brave souls on the borders standing like mountains against our nations enemy.
